| 44 Gosc and U3a members enjoyed a very different day out on Thursday, when they spent an afternoon at the IKEA commercial centre, where, as it was siesta time, they were able to both shop and take a late lunch without the crowds. From there they journeyed through the Albufera rice fields to their boat departure point at El Palmar. Here, the family run boat service did them proud, providing a both informative and fun sun set cruise, accompanied by a cooling breeze , cava, and nibbles. Predictably, the cava quickly ran out but re-inforcements quickly arrived, by boat, along with a large bag of ice! The magnificent sunset was the perfect end to a fabulous day |
